=TSF= News Friday 20th June 2008

Hey all! It’s been a long time since the =TSF= Press has published anything, but hey, it’s Summer now and there’s plenty of time to write and publish this!
In this issue we will be interviewing R1ck1 the Hedgehog about the site and give you some heads up on the things that have been happening that you maybe missed.

1- Well the Forum and the Site have made a complete makeover and it seems to be a major improvement from the last skins.
2- Our popularity has been rising since the beginnings! We have been called rip-offs and unoriginal and sometimes bad organised but we still managed to prove them wrong! We now have 132 members and the forum has an average 32 page views per day. Not bad, if I do say so myself. What surprises me is that the site is more popular then I thought it was, with an average of 101 page views! Major WTF?! Right there!
3- The =TSF= awards are going to start but the date hasn’t been announced yet, I’m still thinking about it! (Maybe next week) *hint hint*
4- Staff applications are also going to be open once more! We are going to need GFX staff and Casino Inspectors! So be sure to be on the look out for the =TSF= Information Lab!
5- All right! On with the interview!

This months topic is: The Sonic Family in General. And today I'll be interviewing R1ck1 the Hedgehog!
Tizo- Hey R1ck1 what's up?
R1ck1- Hey Tizo! I'm doing pretty well, looking forward to this interview!
Tizo- So, what do you think of the topic for this month?
R1ck1- Oh boy, where do I start! It's my chance to express my true feelings for TSF! The Sonic Family is such a fun place to be and covers a wide variety of interests, not just Sonic! There's stuff to do for everyone, friendly staff and members, and the forum is completely interactive! It's just such a great place to be!
Tizo- Why do you think that?
R1ck1- Well, the first time I visited, I was totally gripped by the amount of content and stuff to do, that I came on, got loads of warm welcomes, and I've just loved the place ever since!
Tizo- What do you think should improve here?
R1ck1- If it were at all possible, you should really find more ways for members to become members of the staff, like allow more people into the GFX Brotherhood or make more staff applications available. Try to find more smileys or edit the ones we already have as well.
Tizo- Do think the forum needs more members?
R1ck1- In my opinion, we already have enough members, and it is always a good thing to have more members registering, it's just too many of them register, and then never come back on and post or anything like that. If we had a few more active members, then that would be great, and if we had older members coming back, that would also be good, like where are people like JetX and Nudjo disappeared to all of a sudden?
Tizo- Well Nudjo is in a place where Internet almost doesn’t exist and JetX just... I dunno... But anyway: Is the content on the site enough? Or is there something missing?
R1ck1- TSF's content, huh? Plenty of it! Blogs, plenty of forums, play lists, arcade and topsites! Plus plenty of affiliations! That should be enough for a family of our current size! When we expand further, then we can think about adding more features!
Tizo- What do you think about the arcade? (do you think it should have more games, etc.)
R1ck1- Arcade? It's good for the size of our current family, but the games are a bit iffy. Some take ages to load, and some are of a slightly bad quality. And I can't figure out how to work the Highscore system; if you don't already have some arcade FAQs or help sections, that can be something to improve on. It's good otherwise.
Tizo- What about the radio?
R1ck1- The radio is an excellent feature; you did well there! I also like how you ask the members for any song suggestions, and it is clearly getting more active. Like the hit counter and the comment window! Excellent work!
Tizo- What do you think of the members here? (normal members, stuff, etc.)
R1ck1- I've already made plenty of friends here! Neo and smiley are really funny, Zora and Romy are really good artists and really good people, and the staff team is really helpful too. Too bad staff people are inactive, but I understand that. The only concern I have is that some people just come and go, and what they do here can often leave a scar on our perfect community (spamming, inappropriate behaviour, etc.); so long as the staff are able to sort it out, then I really like our community!
Tizo- Any closing comments?
R1ck1 Pretty sure I covered what I want to say in that, but if you insist...
The recent updates and affiliations are excellent and I would really like you to keep that up!

i would definitely like to be a saff member, and i think i would be a good addition in the staff. but not during school... oh well nice issue
